The Richmond
Kriscolor are proud to announce that we have just completed restoration works and painting to the former Richmond Hospital Building on Brunswick Street Nth, Dublin 7. The Building stretches back to 1897 when it was first built on a site that had previously housed the Dominican Nuns who had been there since 1688, so alot of respect was given to the history of the premises.
Our first task was to carefully repair and prepare the exterior sash windows that were in poor shape after years of neglect. They were then primed and painted with 4 coats of a specified Dulux paint system to restore them to a near new finish. The Main front door is a masterpiece design and was painstakingly repaired and painted.
Most of the Internal plasterwork, woodwork and steelwork features were retained with the former being meticulously repaired while maintaining and revealing its original features.
